How to become a Standards Representative for Water UK

When you decide that you would like to represent Water UK on a standards committee, you should ensure that you are a member of the Water UK Network or Group that deals with the relevant subject area. You should then contact the leader of the Network or Group. It is sometimes helpful to let them have a copy of your CV.

The Network or Group Leader will then ask the Technical Secretary of the Water UK Standards Board to make the nomination to BSI. In the rare event that more than one person volunteers for a vacant representative post, the Network/Group leader will decide who should represent Water UK on the committee.
