Vacancy for Water UK member to serve on committe ISO TC138/WG12 to start on the drafting of a pressure sewer renovation standard.
The Water UK Sewerage Infrastructure Network (SIN) is responsible for this area of work and ideally you should or could be a member of the network.
Please bear in mind that any representation you undertake will count towards the discount your organisation receives against their contribution to the Water UK standards budget.
The Water UK Standards Board have agreed the following competencies for Standards Representatives:
• Significant expertise in their field
• Knowledge of industry practice and policy in their field
• Ability to agree with other experts by consensus
• Understanding of the role of standards in the water sector
• Ability to seek the views of experts of other Water UK members
• Willingness to be involved in standards work for Water UK
