Vacancy for Water UK member to serve on committee BSI CB/503 Drinking Water & Wastewater Service levels and the corresponding ISO (International Standards Organisation) committee.

CB/503 mirrors ISO TC224 - Service activities relating to drinking water systems and wastewater systems.

CB/503 rarely meets but deals with matters electronically. An expert is required to assist in any update of ISO 24510 - Guidelines for the assessment and for the improvement of the service to users.

Please bear in mind that any representation you undertake will count towards the discount your organisation receives against their contribution to the Water UK standards budget.

The Water UK Standards Board have agreed the following competencies for Standards Representatives:

• Expert in customer service levels

• Knowledge of industry practice and policy in their field

• Ability to agree with other experts by consensus

• Understanding of the role of standards in the water sector

• Ability to seek the views of experts of other Water UK members

• Willingness to be involved in standards work for Water UK
